I come now to the close of this good man's life, a life of ''faith and works. " I have made this sketch longer than I intended and, if an apology is needed, it is found in my desire to impress upon all the fact that the fruits of the life I have so briefly noticed are seen to-day in the moral and religious character of the people with whom Mr. Wead's ministerial life was mainly spent.
