Pioneer Ministers of Washtenaw Co.
In July, 1829, a Presbyterian Church was organized in Ypsilanti, consisting of twelve members. In the fall of 1820
Rev. WILLIAM. 1ONKR
began preaching there. He was a zealous but very eccentric man. Some good was done by him, but he abruptly closed his labors in the spring of 1830. There is no further record of him in my possession.
