REV. ME. COSTON,
presiding elder of Detroit district sent Mr. Baughman to Ann Arbor to organize a church, and on the twenty-ninth day of July, 1827, he formed a class consisting of Eber White, Harvey Kinney, Hannah B. Brown, Rebecca G. Brown and Calvin Smith. The place was taken into the circuit and was supplied the first half of the year by
