One of the Judges of the Territory of Michigan:
Sir: —We, the Inhabitants residing in the vicinity of Detroit, beg leave to state; that we have learned with extreme regret, that in consequence of not receiving any answer to your dispatches which have been forwarded to the General Government, (after waiting a reasonable time), you have signified
your intention, of shaping your course in a few days for the City of Washington.
