Detachment Orders. Detroit, 14th June, 1812. Should it be found necessary to hold Court Martials for the trial of any non-commissioned officers, musicians or privates of the Militia of the Territory now in actual service, stationed at the River Raisin, for any offence, not capital, recognizable before a Detachment Court Martial, Capt. Hubert Lacroix is Authorized to appoint such Court and to approve or to disapprove of the sentence thereof, causing regular records to be kept of the order appointing such Court, and all subsequent proceedings thereon.
