Graham Muffins, No. 5
Graham flour, 2 cups, or 1 of graham and 1 of white, as you prefer, only even full; sweet milk, 2 cups, a little scant; eggs, 2, well beaten. Bake in a hot oven; about 15 minutes will be required. Corn Meal Muffins No. 6. —Corn meal and flour, each 2 cups; baking powder, 11/2 tea-spoonfuls; eggs, 3, beaten with sugar and butter, each 1/2 cup; sweet milk, 1 pt.; salt, a little. Directions—Mix the baking powder into the mixed meal and flour, beat eggs, sugar and butter together, then the milk; stir in the meal, having the muffin rings set in a pan, fill properly and place at once in a hot oven.
