Velvet Cream.
Two table-spoonfuls of gelatine, dissolved in 1/2 a tumbler of water; 1 pt. of rich cream, 4 table-spoonfuls of sugar; flavor with sherry, vanilla extract, or rose water. This is a delicious dessert, and can be made in a few minutes. It may be served with or without cream. Remarks. —See the remarks above "Southern Biscuit. "
