Western District, to-wit: \ George the Third, by the grace of God,
of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, defender of the faith, &c. To the sheriff of the Western District: Greeting—
We command you, that you take Paul Belair, of Detroit, carpenter, if he may be found in your district, and him safely keep, so that you have his body before us, at Detroit, on the first day of September term next ensuing, to satisfy George Meldrum and William Park, of Detroit, merchants and co-partners, a sum of 12 pounds, 10 shillings, and 7 pence half penny, lawful money of this province, which the said Meldrum
