Me. Thomas Williams—Sir: Your favor of 15 Oct. came to hand yesterday under cover from our mutual friend Felix Graham and note the contents.
From the present appearance of things there seems but little prospect of the Posts with you being given up next spring, however we may be disappointed on that head, which would be very agreeable to us, and should the communication be open between you and us you may expect to receive the sundry articles you have wrote for to this place,
