government in their passage (with only two or three exceptions) all which can be proved by oral testimony and are its said matters of record in the journals of the house. What then is to be done with the decision to the contrary thereof, of two of the Supreme Judges? We say let them examine into the facts above alluded to and on such proof being exhibited they must rectify their erro-Let them take the example of the great Mansfield in a similar case.
