Rules 3, 4 and 18 as Originally:
Rule 3. At each stated session of the Legislature they shall elect by ballot one of their members to preside at their deliberations, who shall continue to preside until the next stated session, and until a new President shall be elected.
Rule 4. In the absence of the President, a President pro tempore shall be elected, who shall, as well as the President be styled in discussion, mister President.
