Cabbage Baked, Very Nice
—Select a firm head of white cabbage, quarter, rinse, and boil 15 minutes; pour off this water, and put on more hot
water and continue to boil until tender; drain off the water and set aside till cold; chop fine and season with salt and pepper, and a table-spoonrul of butter; beat 2 eggs well, then beat them into 3 table-spoonfuls of rich milk, or cream is better; mix all well together, and bake in a moderate oven till nicely browned. —Farmer's Wife, in Toledo Blade.
