Y., on the 31st day of March, 1820. He came to Michigan when he was nineteen years of age. April 20, 1846, he was married to Miss Susan Stanley, who survives him. The marriage was solemnized at the township of Texas, Kalamazoo county, by Rev. Justin Gage. Six children were
