MRS. AMAN'DA M. WADSWORTH. Mrs. Amanda M. Wadsworth was born in the State of Connecticut, in 1798, and died at the residence of her son, Charles Wadsworth, in the town ship of Owosso, April 28, 1885, aged eighty-six years and six months. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. She was a sister of Mr. Lewis Mann, one of the earliest settlers of Oakland county. Mrs. W. was a woman of culture, and an ornament to any society—a lady of the old school of cultured New England women—and was beloved by all.
