In 1865 he returned to Michigan and moved from Oakland county the same year to Bennington, Shiawassee county, where he purchased the milling interests of Levi Bronson, at Bennington station, in partnership with Henry Retan, where for several years he assisted very materially in development of the surrounding country as well as in in-creasing his own wealth. For the last few years he has lived a retired life.
