Conspiracy of Pontiac
The Seige of Detriot
Soon after leaving the fort, Major Campbell and Mr. McDougall were taken prisoners, and conveyed to the house of Monsieur Quyeries, * a Frenchman, living upon the farm now owned by Major Dequindre, above town.
On the same day an English family named Fisher were attacked on Hog Island, the husband and wife massacred, and three or four children taken prisoners.
From the house of Mr. Quyeries, where Pontiac told him he would hold a council, Major Campbell and Mr. McDougall were conveyed to the house of Mr. Meloche, a large house, sixty feet long, situated on the farm now owned by Moran, near Bloody Run.
